1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions, the following terms have the meanings given below:

2. Use of This Website

This website is provided for informational purposes about our educational offerings. By accessing and using it, you agree to do so only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not interfere with the rights of others or the operation of the site.

You may not use this website to collect contact information from other users, to distribute unsolicited communications, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, or to upload malicious code or content.

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to this website for any visitor who misuses it.

3. Course Enrolment and Agreement

An enrolment is considered confirmed when you have completed our enrolment process and we have received payment in full (or an agreed deposit, where applicable). We will send written confirmation of your enrolment to the email address you provide.

By enrolling, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older, that the information you have provided is accurate, and that you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

We reserve the right to decline an enrolment where a course is not suited to a prospective participant's circumstances, or where the available cohort is full.

4. Fees and Payment

Course fees are listed in Thai Baht (฿) and are inclusive of all course materials, scheduled sessions, and any consultations specified in the course description.

Payment is due at the time of enrolment unless a specific payment arrangement has been agreed with us in writing. We accept payment by bank transfer and such other methods as may be specified during the enrolment process.

Fees are subject to change. Any change to fees will not affect an enrolment that has already been confirmed and paid.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Cancellation by you

If you need to withdraw from a course after enrolment, the following applies:

In cases of serious illness, bereavement, or other significant unforeseen circumstances, we will consider requests for deferral or partial refund on their individual merits. We ask that such requests be made as early as possible.

5.2 Cancellation by us

We reserve the right to cancel or postpone a course due to insufficient enrolment, the unavailability of a teaching specialist, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In such cases, you will receive either a full refund or the option to transfer your enrolment to a future cohort.

6. Course Delivery and Scheduling

Our courses combine live sessions (delivered online or in person, as specified for each course), individual consultations, and self-directed study using provided materials. The schedule for each cohort will be confirmed in writing before commencement.

We make every effort to maintain schedules as published. Occasionally, a session may need to be rescheduled due to circumstances affecting a teaching staff member. We will provide reasonable notice and offer a suitable alternative time.

Attendance at sessions is strongly encouraged. We are not able to provide refunds or transfers where a participant misses sessions for reasons within their control.

The in-person gatherings specified for the Comprehensive Later-Life Financial Stewardship program take place at our Bangkok learning centre. Participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation.

7. Participant Conduct

Our courses bring together individuals who may be navigating sensitive personal and financial circumstances. We ask all participants to engage with one another with respect and discretion.

Information shared by other participants in group sessions is confidential to those sessions. You agree not to share, reproduce, or discuss such information outside the course context.

We reserve the right to remove a participant from a course, without refund, if their conduct is disruptive, disrespectful, or harmful to others in the cohort.

8. Intellectual Property

All course materials — including workbooks, presentations, templates, and written guides — are the intellectual property of suvarnabas or our licensed content partners. These materials are provided for your personal educational use only.

You may not reproduce, distribute, republish, or adapt course materials for commercial purposes or for use outside your own personal study without our prior written permission.

All content on this website, including text, design elements, and graphics, is similarly protected. You may share links to our public web pages, but may not reproduce substantial portions of the content without permission.

9. Limitations of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, our liability to you for any claim arising from your use of this website or participation in a course is limited to the amount you paid for the course in question.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of earnings, business decisions made in reliance on course content, or losses resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any matter that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

10. Educational Nature of Services

suvarnabas is an educational provider. Our courses, materials, and staff conversations are designed to build knowledge, perspective, and practical understanding. They do not constitute personalised financial advice, legal advice, tax advice, or any form of regulated advisory service.

Where courses involve specialists such as attorneys or financial planners, those specialists provide educational commentary within the course context. Any specific advice you require should be obtained from a properly licensed professional acting in an advisory capacity.

Decisions you make regarding your personal finances, legal arrangements, or career on the basis of course content are your own responsibility.

11. Privacy

Our handling of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions and should be read alongside them.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any dispute arising from them shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Thai courts, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection legislation in your country of residence.

13. Amendments

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your course enrolment is the version that governs that enrolment. We will notify enrolled participants of any material changes that may affect their rights.

Updated terms are effective from the date posted on this page. Continued use of our website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
